Dyslipidemia is a condition where collection of abnormal amount of lipids in the blood. It is also called as hypercholesterolemia, or hyperlipidemia depending on the condition. It is called as lipid disorder. It is a major health concern because too much bad cholesterol can increase your chance of getting heart disease or even risk of stroke, and other cardiac related problems. Dyslipidemia is considered as lifestyle disorder.
Cholesterol is in fact important to human beings for proper metabolism. Once we go through types of cholesterol. It is High density lipoprotein or HDL cholesterol it is also called "good" cholesterol. Another category is low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol which is called as "bad" cholesterol. These two types together forming total cholesterol.
Combination of total cholesterol and triglycerides are called as lipids.
When these lipids are abnormal, it is called as dyslipidemia. If all levels are higher, it is considered as hypercholesterolemia, or hyperlipidemia which is considered as unsafe for health.
Abnormal cholesterol levels mainly due to unhealthy lifestyle and hence called as lifestyle disorders.

Reduce or restrict intake of corn oil and safflower oil and one can switch to olive oil, sesame oil, or even rapeseed oil are comparatively good.
Consumption of rich antioxidant diet such as nuts, strawberries, apples, veggies like carrots, broccoli and spinach which are helpful.
Use turmeric and curry leaves, they are helpful.
