2 gm of Divya makardhawaj produced by Swami Ramdev's Divya Pharmacy.

Stimulant and tonic. Highly efficacious in sexual and general debility, cough and other chest infections.

Serving size / Dosage

0.125gms (1/8gm) with honey morning and evening.

It is an ayurvedic preparation of red sulphide of mercury and gold in uncombined form. One part of gold leaf and Eight parts of mercury are mixed together to form an amalgam. Sixteen parts of sublimed sulphur are added to this mixture and the resulting mixture is ground thoroughly in a stone mortar for 24 hours or more until the whole mixture converts into lusterless, fine, impalpable powder. The mixture is then placed in a narrow mouthed bottle &  heated on a sand bath. After heating the bottle is filled with reddish fumes. After cooling Makaradhvaja is found deposited in the inner surface of the bottle's neck.

• If indigestion & diarrhea then Makaradhvaja is mixed with powdered bael fruit (Aegle marmelos)
• If fever and cough it is given with the juices of betel (Piper betel), ginger and tulsi leaves (Ocimum tenuiflorum).
• A valuable tonic in debilitating conditions and convalescent patients after acute illness, in failing circulation and cardiac asthenia;
• Makardhawaj increases the RBC & improves nutritional status.
