Divya Lavangadi Vati

Lavangadi Vati is prepared from “Lavanga” means “clove” and is predominantly used for common cold and cough. It is also said to be a good breath freshener.

Ingredients :

Laung (Syzgium aromaticum) - 10%
Bahera (Terminalia bellirica) - 5%
Peepal (Piper longum) - 5%
Sagar tigal - 4%
Kakara-shrangi (Pistacia integerrima) - 3%
Darim-twak (Bark of Punica granatum) - 2%
Dalchini (Cinnamomum zeylanicum) - 3%
Khersaar (Acacia catecha) - 14%
Mulethi satva (Extract of Glycyrrhiza glabra) - 26%
Munakka (Vitis vinifera) - 14%
Aak ke phul (Flowers of calotrophic procera) - 7%
Nausader - 3%
kapoor (Cinnamomum camphora) - 2%
Suhaga - 2%

Dosage : Adult: 1 tablet twice daily, Children: 1/2 tablet twice daily in Morning and Evening with Luke warm water.

Cough and Cold in Children: Basically in children from age group of 1 year to 16 years do suffer from common cold, cough, and fever, which occur due to less immunity power. So we need to restore and increase the immunity power. We need to stop them from exposing to cold climate, always try to give warm comforts, and not to take cold food items. In order to gain immunity power and to fight reoccurrence of cold, cough, and fever, you may give some long term medications such as fever, cough, and cold medicine package and medicines to increase immunity power with Divya chyavanprash. which can be taken as one teaspoon(5 gm) followed by milk.
