Composition :

Each 5.00 gm contains equal amount of :-

  • Brahmi (Centella asiatica)
  • Shankhapushpi (Convolvulus pluricaulis)
  • Ustekhadoos (Lavandula stoechas)
  • Gaajwan (Onosma bracteatum)
  • Saunf (Foeniculum vulgare)
  • Maalkaangni (Celastrus paniculatus)
  • Jatamansi (Nardostachys jatamansi)
  • Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera)
  • Vachmeethi (Acorus calamus)

Therapeutic Uses :

* Useful in chronic headache, migraine, sleeplessness or loss of sleep, negativity & depression.
* Stops uneasiness.
* Promotes memory.

Mode of Administration :

Boil 5-10 grams. of medicine by adding 400 ml. of water. Boil it till it is reduced to 100 ml. & strain it. Take twice a day, in the morning & evening before breakfast & dinner. It produces better & instantaneous effect if Medha Vati is also taken with this decoction.

Answered by Dr.Vijay : Hello, There are many reasons for getting headache, if you are stressed out, there may be chances, or due to improper circulation of blood, sinusitis, or cold and cough related problem, and similarly, if there is any kind of pressure which will lead to headache. That may be vascular headache. So, after understanding the issue, you may try consuming medicines properly. It is better to practice pranayama which is very important such as anuloma-viloma pranayama, you can also practice suryanamaskara, sarvangasana which are very helpful. Following medicines are indicated for your condition Cephagriane Tablet, Package Medicine that contains Divya Medha Kwath, Divya Mukta Pisti, Divya pravala Pisti, Divya Godanti Bhasma, and Divya Medha Vati which are helpful for your condition. Question: Hello Sir, I m suffering either anxiety and fear phobia to travel. Automatically kind of high fear and tension comes when I think of doing anything which I feel fear. I feel if I stay alone or in new place something is happening for me and gets very tensed. I started using Narayana kalpa. Please advise.

Answered by Dr.Ramani : Fear or phobias and anxiety is seen due to stress. Proper counselling sessions will address the cause and help you to overcome the undue stress. Yogasanas, healthy food, meditation and pranayamam will be beneficial to improve the psychological well-being. Ayurvedic medicines like Divya Medha Kwath, Sumenta for depression and Brahmi Rasayana can be taken for a moth and then review. Include more fruits, green tea, olives, avocados, spinach, garlic, dark chocolate, cinnamon, basil and carrots. Reduce excess canned foods, refined flour, sugar, salt, coffee and tea. Question: sir i am suffering from anxiety or fear of sleeping at any time due to which i got palpitation and fast heart beat dis happens because of long term illness or fever of rikestial typhus for which i was admitted to hospital in the month of april and was on rest till mid of month may.for anxiety i have consulted a pyschiatric which advice me to take medicine tablet pari 10(0-0-1)and zicam 0.25(0-0-1). i am taking dis medicine from last one month and doctor advice me to continue till next month. for anxiety i do regular yoga,walking and also play vollyball some days. i joined my office from 16th may onwards and do self driving of @30kms. still i am not feeling fully fit and also my weight is not gaining.pls help me get out of this as early as possible

Answered by Dr.Ramani : Stress after an illness especially after hospitalisation causes anxiety. The symptoms vary in each person and it takes a month or two to recover completely. Ayurvedic medicines can be taken to support the mental health which will reduce the symptoms like anxiety or palpitation. Meanwhile, you can consult a cardiologist to assess the function of the heart with ECG or other relevant investigations as necessary. Question: my son is diagnosed with mild autism.Can I get medicine for my son.

Answered by Dr.Vijay : Hello, As your son is suffering from autism which you claim it as mild and it is understood that autism involves communication problem, and problem with social interactions and repetitive behaviors. So, it is important to give immense training including speech therapy and behavioral therapy which is very helpful. However, there are certain ayurvedic medicines which are helpful to improve brain functioning and to prevent further damage. It is important that parents too need proper training for the same and it is better you plan for proper exercises and yoga poses and even pranayama which may help in child’s future. You may give Janma Ghutika if age is less and consider consuming Package Medicine that contains multiple medicines such as Divya Medha Vati, Divya Ashwagandha Churna,l Divya Mukta Pishti, Divya Pravala Pishti, Divya Giloy Sat, Divya Rajata Bhasma, and Divya Medha Kwatha, which are good for child’s health. Answered by Dr.Ramani : Obsessive compulsive disease is a disorder of the mind affecting the behaviour of a person. Repetitive behaviours are due to a compulsion with increased anxiety. So when it disturbs the way one acts and stresses, it is necessary to treat it. Medicines like Medha Kwath, Saraswatha aristam and Meda vati are effective and can be taken for a month and then reviewed. Try to include green tea, pomegranate, whole grains, dark chocolate, olives, avocados and cinnamon. Reduce excess carbonated beverage, sugar, salt, canned foods and oil. Ayurvedic treatments like shiroabyanga, nasya, shirodhara, abyanga and pizhichal will be effective. A good support from family, friends, healthy eating, regular exercise and regular checkups as advised will be beneficial. Counseling sessions are very important to analyse the mind and in finding better solutions to improve it. Having the weight under control will be beneficial. The advised Allopathy medicines must be taken regularly. It is generally seen due to genetic reasons, tumours or neurological problems that affect the electrical conductivity in the brain. Pleas let me know the investigations to guide you further. Ayurvedic medicines like Divya Medha kwath and Kalyanaka ghrtam - 1tsp before food twice daily with milk after food can be taken for a month and reviewed. Include nuts, olive oil, pomegranates, avocados, fiber and complex carbohydrates. Try not to skip meals. Practising Yoga and Pranayamam by joining in a Yoga class for kids will be beneficial. Answered by Dr.Ramani : Yes, the medicines like Divya Medha vati and Divya Aswagandha aristam can be taken. It will be beneficial for the physical and mental well-being. Ghee has the property to cross the blood brain barrier and will be more beneficial for the function of the mind. Brahmi Ghrit can be given twice daily for a month and then reviewed. Include brahmi leaves, pomegranate, turmeric, spinach, avocados, ghee and basil. Reduce excess fried foods, meat, refined flour, canned foods, carbonated beverages, caffeine, sugar and salt. Brain exercising like playing chess, crossword and scrabbles will be beneficial and physical exercise will also support for a better brain health. Yes, these medicines can be taken for 3-6months and then reviewed to take it further. In Ayurveda there is a group of drugs mentioned as intellect increasing drugs. Medicines that has the drugs like brahmi, sanka puspi, manduka parni will be beneficial to improve the intellectual capacity.
Question: Guruji my neighbor met with an accident with brain injury on dated 11june and surgery done same day till now he is in coma but he also responded smile yawning etc. But not conscious. Answered by Dr.Geetika : Medha kwath and medha vati is for stress and any brain related disorder,loss of memory,migraine,epilepsy etc.Donot leave it immediately but leave gradually like decreasing its dose.If your taking two tablets twice a day first reduce it to one twice a day and then one once a day.Also reduce the amount of medha kwath like if you are taking twice a day reduce it to one time a day.Do practice pranayam and yoga regularly.It helps in any stress of the stress and sleep related disorder.It will help you to get rid of the medicine early. Question: Dear sir, My son age 13 is autistic and he cannot speak. Twice in a month he gets epileptic attacks / fits and his teeths are closed that time. Saliva comes out of his mouth and his sleep is not good. Do you have any treatment for him?

The exact relationship between autism and seizure is not known, but taking proper medicines and following a healthy lifestyle will help to reduce the attacks.
