weakness gone

Answered by Dr.Vijay : Hello, As per your given details like height 175 cm, you should maintain 24.7, your probable weight should be around 75 kg, and body mass index should be between 18.5 to 24.9 which is ideal. There are many reasons for weight reduction. After analyzing all factors, if this can be corrected with diet and activities, one should follow proper diet, well-balanced diet which is very important. Consuming fiber-rich food is very important. If you have gastric related complaints, that should be controlled with proper diet and by consuming appropriate medicines will help to manage the issue. Answered by Dr.Ramani : It is important to take care of the surgical scar after caesarian to heal faster. Breast feeding will create contractions of the uterus which will fasten the healing of the scar. Your wife can take gentle slow walks but avoid squatting and bending movements. Apply the medicines regularly and keep the wound clean and dry. Please consult with your gynecologist for a review after the surgery to confirm that the wound has healed. Delivery is a strenuous process and to regain the lost energy, certain Ayurvedic medicines can be taken. Medicines like Dasamoola aristam - 25ml after food thrice daily, Sowbhagya shundi lehyam - 1tsp before food twice daily can be taken for 3months. These will improve the energy levels and the digestion. Include protein, fiber like mung dal, chick peas, beans, turnip, broccoli, spinach, cabbage, bottle gourd, cumin, fenu greek and ridge gourd. Avoid excess fried fatty foods, sweet, salt and carbonated beverages. Help her to have sleep when it is possible and make her take good rest. Usually the daily requirement of protein depends on body mass index, usually if you are working hard or in the form of gym, your requirement will be somewhere around 70-90 grams of protein. In your case if you are getting enough proteins from your regular food, there is no need of having extra protein. You can get rich proteins in meat, fish, tofu, cheese, beans, lentils, milk and yogurt, nuts, and seeds. However if you are interested in taking whey protein powder, then you can have in minimal quantity as required. Naturally if you want to try, you can have Badam Pak which is good if you take it one teaspoon twice daily after food with milk is very helpful. Along with gym, if you practice yoga, you can manage and maintain flexibility and you can improve concentration. You can practice Suryanamaskara, Sarvangasana, pavanamukthasan, trikonasana, baddakonasana are indicated, and anolomaviloma pranayama are indicated and if you are new for this yoga or pranayama. Answered by Dr.Vijay : Hello, In teenage guys, usually metabolism should be good, but in few cases if there is poor metabolism, whatever the food you take or whatever the nourishment you take extra goes in waste and that could be one reason why you are not gaining weight or you feel that you are thin. You can correct this problem easily by small modifications. You need to start heavy breakfast that contains fruits, normal breakfast and dry fruits are dry nuts or even sprouts. If you are having heavy breakfast, then basal metabolic rate will generate well and rest of the metabolism takes place normally and in good way. Later on you can have normal food in proper timings and you can reduce dinner quantity and try to increase fiber rich food and soups and do not sleep immediately, you can go for a walk and then go to bed. I can suggest few medications which will help you to gain weight ideally such as Badam Pak one teaspoon, twice daily after food and Aswagandha Ghrit one teaspoon empty stomach daily will help you. If you are regularly going to gym and if your diet is mixed, then you can consider having egg white daily and you can have fruits regularly.
