Question: Age: 35years Gender : Male Maritial Status: Married Medical Problem: Diabetic Type I, Since October 2007 i am taking insulin to maintain blood sugar, I have a problem of constipation also but i taking Kayam Churan for that. Due to diabeties now i have sexual problem also and over all body weekness and my whole life disturbed. Please suggest best remedies for my problem. Answered by Dr.Ramani : Problems pertaining to sex and general weakness is more common in people with type 1 Diabetes. It is due to the damage in the bloodveseels. It can be managed with the good control of blood sugar levels with the right dosage of the medicines. Please do have regular checkups. Ayurvedic medicines like Madhumeh Kusumakar Ras and Triphala Churna can be taken for a month and then reviewed. Include avocados, banana, dates, almonds, gokshura, aswagnadha, cinnamon, celery, garlic, ginger, asparagus, coriander, nut meg, dark chocolate, capsicum, pomegranate and carrot. Reduce excess canned foods, pungent spicy foods, oil, sugar and salt. Exercise regularly and Yogasanas like navasana, vajrasana, halasana, sethubandasana, padmasana and sukhasana will be beneficial.
Question: Age :- 60. Gender :-. male. Since a year ago I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes .Since then I'm taking medicine for that . Diabetes is in control even normal but doctor said to take medicine. I don't want to take this allopathic medicine .So if you have some medicine for me do suggest me . Something complaint I have are as under. 1--Stomach upset. 2--insomia. 3--fatigue. 4--quickly loss temper. 5--rotating pain. Sometimes I get pain in shoulders sometimes in my back sometime in my abdomen.sometimes in the sides of abdomen. 6--i don't feel hungry even in morning. 7-- digestive system is not working properly. 8--liver , pancreas are not working properly. 9 in short my body is not working properly. Answered by Dr.Ramani : Please let me know your blood tests including HbA1c, RBS and PPBS to guide you based on the reports. Ayurvedic medicines like Nisakadakadi kvath - 15ml with 60ml of warm water before food twice daily and Madhumeh Kusumakar ras for a month. Please send me the reports after a month. After taking Madhumeh Kusumakar ras for a month, you can stop it and continue with Glucomap tablet and Jamun guthli churna for Diabetes - 1tsp before food twice daily. It must be reviewed after every month. Include cumin, bitter gourd, fenu greek, bottle gourd, olive oil, flax seeds, turmeric, cinnamon, gokshuram and ginger. Reduce excess caffeine, meat, sugar, salt, pungent spicy foods, oil and canned foods. Regular exercise and yogasanas like navasana, marajaryasana, utkadasana, dhanurasana, pavanamuktasana, paravatasana, paschimottasana, mayurasana, supported sarvangasana and trikonasana will be beneficial.
