Question: Hi Sir / Madam, I have been suffering from Navel displacement for 20 years now. Initially I never knew but later came to know. My navel shifts downwards and that causes diarrhoea; Bowel sounds & pain in calves. I manage to get it back in place but it shifts again. I feel so down in confidence and weak. 20 years is a long long time and I am fed up. Please give me a permanent solution to this. Please keep yourself in my place and understand what I am going through. Please help me Sir / madam.

Answered by Dr.George : Dear brother, Naval displacement is not a common clinical condition. You will have to check the distance from the center of the navel region to both your right and left toes. If there is any difference in length there will be anatomical displacement for your naval region. Usually these kind of anatomical differences will have nothing to do with your physiological processes such as eating, drinking or excretion. So same is also about diarrhoea. I suggest you to consult with a physician to know the exact reason for the diarrhoea and treat accordingly. Please don't discuss the condition with some one doesn't have medical knowledge. That may lead to wrong conclusions. Do contact us for any more clarifications . Regards Dr George.

Question: Dear sir, Since 2 year I have problems of gas, indigestion, loss op sppetite, due to untimely consumption of food because of bad schedule of job. Stomach makes sound. I feel itching sensation on stomach and sometime on body too. Not passing stool in solid way, not having satisfaction of clear stomoch. Some time I catch diarrhoea ..plz suggest me..medicine..food..and yoga treatment.

Answered by Dr.Ramani : Your symptoms are similar to that which are present in Irritable bowel syndrome. The exact causes is not known. Normally there will be contractions in the muscular wall of the intestines to move the contents which will happen in a normal rhythm. When it becomes longer it may cause diarrhoea, bloating, cramps while weak contractions causes dry stools with constipation. So the agni or metabolism must be improved which will help to resolve the condition. It has to be treated based on the symptoms. Medicines like InduKantha Kasayam - 15ml with 60ml of warm water before food twice daily, Divya Harar Vati, Vilvadi lehyam - 1tsp after food twice daily can be taken for a month and then reviewed. Try to eat little food with more frequent intervals. When there is long intervals without food, it will increase the formation of gas affecting the digestion. Eat easily digestable foods with garlic, mint, raisins, figs, coriander, ginger. Reduce excess sweets, fried foods and carbonated beverages. Yogasanas like Trikonasana, Halasana, Vajrasana, Pavanamuktasana, Paschimottasana, Padahastasana, Bhujangasana and Dhanurasana are beneficial.

Question: sir from last 4 year i am suffering from the problem of acute diarrhoea all my test reports are normal all blood tests are normal no weight loss is their .I have tried my best to increase my weight but their is no increase in weight also my weight always remain stagnant. my age is 18 year i am male

Answered by Dr.Vijay : Hello, As you are suffering from chronic diarrhea and with more frequent intervals where you need to get analyzed many factors. As you are suffering from this problem since more than four years, it is better to get checked with gastroenterologist as there may be necessary of colonoscopy. If your problem is only related with diarrhea, you may correct this with proper diet and changing lifestyle and consuming the food which is suitable for you and meanwhile avoid the food which is not suitable like spicy foods, oily foods. The best way is to consume the food with fresh butter milk and adding fresh curry leaves. If there is no proper digestion, absorption, or assimilation, there are chances of getting diarrhea. Even the way you live the way use toilet may also matter, that is if you are using common toilet there are chances of getting infections. Following medicines are helpful such as Pacakge Medicine that contains multiple medicines are helpful for your condition. With regards, Dr. Vijay.
